Yousree was engaged in :
▪ Quality Management System & HSSE from 1994 to 2011.
▪ Quality Management System & Business Assurance from 2011 to 2017.
▪ Managing & aligning Business Partners in their Health Safety Environment Management System and Business Assurance within the Shell Global Framework.
▪ He is the Managing Director of KTL Services Sdn Bhd and Ikhwan Shipping & Forwarding Sdn Bhd from 2017 to present.
▪ He is also hands-on and engage managing Offshore Catering in Brunei under KTL Services Sdn Bhd and KTL Delicious Sdn Bhd in Malaysia.
▪ Developing and executing the company’s business strategies in KTL Services Sdn Bhd in Brunei and KTL Delicious Sdn Bhd in Malaysia.
▪ Providing strategic advice to the board and chairperson.
▪ Preparing and implementing comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement on both Brunei and Malaysia business operations.

1) Innovation Task▪ Invented new menus; at least 10 menus ideations per months of new products and new concepts.
▪ Built the protocol of the new products.
▪ Performed research and development on the market insights, analyze and come out the new concepts to meet the market needs.
▪ Presented the insides to marketing and the R&D team for them to put the new ideas into the production pipeline.
▪ Tested and improved the new product protocol.
▪ Managed an Ideation team to come out with products ideation; new product development to meet market trends and to become competency against others.
▪ Lead the team and coaching the team; assisting them to come out with new ideas, encourage them to be more innovative and think out of the box.
▪ Assisted and worked alongside with other key account leaders to come out with new product development.
▪ Provided training and market insights to the people with most updated skills.
3) Technical Task▪ To work alongside with suppliers to use functional ingredients in the production.
▪ To work closely with production and as well as other department to come out with solutions to meet the customers’ expectations.
▪ Testing and development of recipes which could fit in the production line.
▪ Benchmarking and testing amongst the functional ingredient to ensure their functionality; mouthfeel, texture, forming, before and after cooking, cooking techniques and storage.
▪ Came out with new cooking techniques; sous vide, air fry, microwave oven heating and molecular cooking.
▪ To work alongside with suppliers to use functional ingredients in the production.
▪ Merchant Shipping Certificate of Competency --- Master (Unlimited), in accordance to STCW convention 1995 --- II/2.
▪ Master Mariner, Class 1 Unlimited, with diverse experience in Merchant Ships, Offshore Vessels, Marine Pilot, Loading Master, Terminal Operations, Vessel Vetting and Marine Project Specialist. Can perform in any marine role effectively and independently and collaborate efficiently with multi-cultural and diverse stakeholders.
▪ Seafarer from 1986 to 2005, worked mainly on geared Panamax dry bulk vessels, container and Ro-ro vessels from Cadet to Master in command on foreign going vessels.
▪ Familiar with all types of offshore vessels from lift boats, dive support vessels, anchor handlers, supply vessels, tugs, work boats, accommodation barges. Vessels with conventional propulsion systems, azimuth systems, rotor tugs, spread moor 4 points and 8 points including vessels with dynamic positioning systems.
▪ Well versed with industrial (OCIMF, IMCA) and oil majors (Shell, BP, Exxon, Chevron) marine assurance processes.
▪ Experience gained while employed by Brunei Shell (also held OVID inspector accreditation) and also while employed by Marine contractor.
▪ Driven in multi-cultural and diverse organizations such as Maersk, Brunei Shell, Nghi Son Refinery and BGP offshore.
▪ Initially worked as Operations Supt. in Singapore (EMAS Offshore Limited), then transferred to Brunei to oversee safety for vessels chartered to Brunei Shell Petroleum. Eventually promoted to Marine Operations Manager t oversee fleet of anchor handlers, accommodation barge and crew boats chartered to Brunei Shell, Sarawak Shell, Shell Philippines and Nippon Oil.
▪ While employed with Brunei Shell, served as Marine Pilot and Loading Master for Seria Crude Oil Terminal handling Cape Size Oil Tankers up to 175,000 T deadweight.
▪ Worked with Brunei Shell, he was assigned as contract holder for up to 28 offshore vessels, with annual OPEX in excess of USD 100 million. This included providing justification till eventual approval by the tender board for above contract awards.
▪ Formerly worked for Nghi Son Refinery & Petrochemical in Vietnam as Loading Master. Performing terminal and vessel vetting for liquid and dry bulk vessels for export of products through refinery’s own terminal and SPM capacity of 300,000 T deadweight.
▪ Currently supporting BGP offshore as Marine Specialist, a company which provides onshore and offshore survey for oil companies. Current project with Brunei Shell Petroleum where we have 6 vessels from 3 different operators carrying out 3D & 4D ocean bottom nodes survey. Instrumental in getting the vessels accepted for Brunei Shell’s multi discipline Marine Assurance process.
▪ Conversant and abreast with industry developments such as IMO, OCIMF, IACS, Marine Safety Forum, GOMO, International Tug & OSV and subscribing to Witherby's Seamanship for publications.
